I love people. Everyone is completely unique with their own story to tell. And I love hearing them all. It has been my joy to have been involved in pastoral ministry, alongside my husband Ian, for over 40 years in 4 different churches across the UK. I am passionate about the church. I believe it is a healing community in our broken world. At New Life Church, I oversee our women’s ministry, Flourish, where we host monthly breakfasts and nurture a growing online community.
I am also a qualified therapist, working in school with children and adolescents, and in private practice. I have extensive experience working with a wide variety of emotional and psychological traumas. These include anxiety and depression, bereavement and loss, family breakdown, experience of bullying, illness and hospitalisation trauma, phobias, addictions, self-harming and relationship problems. I completed my Masters degree at Cambridge University, where my research interest was focused on bereavement, loss and change in adolescents.
To relax, I love swimming, designing and making quilts and have just started going to a weekly art class. I have 4 adult children, and 6 wonderful grandchildren.

I would like to personally invite you to this weekend retreat.
My desire is to give a voice to those that have been silenced through abuse. To break out of the cage and sing your song of deliverance, so you and others may hear, you have been set free.
This weekend we will open your cage, through the blood of Jesus, unlock the chains that have you wrapped up, and give you a purpose, a hope, that you are not alone. Your voice is one of many, whether weak or strong, it is your key of deliverance.
An abuser takes your voice away, and silences you. My mission is to get it back for you.
We will have:
Most of all, we will point you to Christ, the author of our salvation, our Redeemer and Deliverer.
Maybe you have not suffered this trauma but a family, loved one or a friend has and you want to understand and help him or her through their journey of healing. This invitation is for you as well. Be sure to bring a friend or loved one!
